MAKING THE HONEYCOMB SURF FIN CORE

The honeycomb fabrication process is done by first stacking of sheets of the Fiberglass Reinforced Honeycomb material on which adhesive node lines have been printed. The adhesive lines are then cured to form a Honeycomb block.
The Honeycomb block itself may be expanded after curing to give an expanded block. Slices of the expanded block may then be cut to the desired T dimension and subsequently expanded. Slices can be expanded to regular hexagons, under expanded to 6-sided diamonds.
The expanded sheets are trimmed to the desired Length and width.
